# Set up biometric login & PIN code

## Set up a PIN code

**Step 1**: Open the wallet and click the list item at the top left corner to get to the **Setting** section.

**Step 2**: Choose **Security.**

**Step 3**: Click the toggle next to **PIN code.**

**Step 4**: Choose a 6-digit PIN code and click **Continue.**

**Step 5**: Repeat your PIN code to verify, then click **Continue.**

SubWallet would direct you back to the **Security** section, this time you can see that the **PIN code** toggle has been enabled.

## Set up Face ID/ Touch ID

**Step 1**: Get to the **Security** section following the [instruction](#set-up-a-pin-code) above

**Step 2**: Enable the **Face ID/ Touch ID** feature.\
Please note that you would need to set up **Face ID**/ **Touch ID** on your own device before using it with SubWallet.
