Connect Keystone devices

This document will show you how to connect a Keystone device to SubWallet.

Set up your Keystone device

Step 1: Open your Keystone and enter your password.

Step 2: Choose the network you want to connect.

Step 3: Click on the three-dot icon to go to the more options.

Step 4: Choose "Connect Software Wallet".

Then, the Keystone will display a QR code that help you connect to SubWallet.

Connect Keystone to your wallet

Step 1: Open SubWallet's web dashboard, and click on the account name to get to the account management screen.

Step 2: In the account management screen, choose the "Attach account" icon in the lower right corner.

Step 3: Choose "Connect Keystone device".

Step 4: Click "Scan the QR code".

Please note that you would need to grant SubWallet permission to use your camera in order to import by QR code. If you have not yet granted this permission, SubWallet will show the following message:

Click the "Go to Setting" button. You will be directed to our security settings screen. Please switch the toggle and approve the browser pop-up to enable camera access.

If you use the Brave browser, there will be multiple options that allow us to access the camera for different durations. You can choose the time option that best fits your personal preferences. However, to ensure a seamless experience with our system, we recommend selecting the "forever" option.

Step 5: Get the QR code in your Keystone device ready.

Step 6: Put your Keystone device (with the QR code displayed) in front of your computer and scan with the computer's camera.

Step 7: Your account is ready!

You can find your Keystone device in the account list (follow Step 2 to get to the account list). You will notice that this account has been marked with a QR icon.
