Connect extension
Easily link your extension accounts to start managing tokens, exploring dApps, and signing transactions.
Supported extensions for connect
Currently, SubWallet supports the following extensions:
SubWallet browser extension
Talisman browser extension
Polkadot{.js} browser extension
After connecting to these extensions, the accounts linked will be displayed and used as solo accounts.
If you were to perform transactions with these accounts, you would need to take an additional step to seek approval from the currently used extension.
If you're on the Welcome page
Step 1: Open SubWallet Web dashboard. The welcome screen will appear.

Select the "Connect wallet" option.

Step 2: Make sure you read all the Terms of Use by clicking on the scroll-down button and agree with them by ticking the box beside "I understand and agree to the Terms of Use, which apply to my use of SubWallet and all of its feature".

Once done, click "Continue".

Step 3: A popup screen will appear on the right side. Select the extension you want to connect.

Depending on whether you have used any of these extensions, choose the appropriate tab to proceed:
Step 4: After choosing the extension you want to connect accounts, the corresponding wallet's popup will appear.
In this example, we will choose the "SubWallet" option.


Select the account(s) in which you want to connect to use on SubWallet Web dashboard.

Step 5: Enter a strong password with at least 8 characters and tick "I understand that SubWallet can't recover the password".

Once done, click "Continue".

Step 6: You've successfully connected your SubWallet extension accounts! Click on the account name at the top right to get to the account selection tab, where you will notice the SubWallet icon next to your linked account list (see the image below), as this is to differentiate them from accounts linked to other extensions and other account types.

Step 4: In this case, you will notice that all 3 options have the
icon.

Choose the option you want to connect.
Step 5: You'll be redirected to the wallet's install page.
If you choose "SubWallet", you will be redirected to this page.
If you choose "Talisman", you will be redirected to this page.
If you choose "Polkadot{.js}", you will be redirected to this page.
Step 6: Follow the process to install and set up your account(s) in the corresponding extension.
If you choose "SubWallet", follow this guide.
If you choose "Talisman", follow this guide.
If you choose "Polkadot{.js}", follow this guide.
Step 7: Go back to SubWallet Web dashboard. Select the extension you want to connect.
Step 8: After choosing the extension you want to connect accounts, the corresponding wallet's popup will appear.
In this example, we will choose the "SubWallet" option.

Step 1: On the SubWallet homepage, click on the account name to access the account selection tab.
Step 2: Select the
button at the bottom right corner of the screen.
Step 3: Choose the extension you want to connect.
