Connect extension

This document will show you how to connect SubWallet extension to web dashboard.

If you have not used SubWallet extension before

Step 1: Open SubWallet's web dashboard, at the welcome page, choose "Download SubWallet extension".

Step 2: You will be directed to SubWallet's website as follows:

Please select the corresponding browser icon to download the extension for the browser you are using.

Now, you can follow the process of installing SubWallet extension here.

Step 3: After successfully installing SubWallet extension, turn back to the welcome page. Now you just need to click "Connect extension wallet".

If you still don't see the "Connect extension wallet" button, please try to refresh the web page again.

Step 4: An extension's pop-up will appear. At this step, you will have to create a new account in extension following this guide.

After successfully creating a new account, this pop-up will appear. Let's choose the account(s) you want to connect with the web dashboard. Then click "Connect".

Step 5: Now, let's create a password in your web dashboard.

Please note that SubWallet is non-custodial, so you would be the only person who knows your password; we cannot help you restore your password once it is lost. Please make sure that your password is well-kept.

Now your account is ready to use:

If you have used SubWallet extension before

Step 1: Open SubWallet's web dashboard, then choose "Connect extension wallet".

Step 2: A pop-up window will appear. Choose the account(s) you want to connect and click "Connect".
